Kyle Seyer enters his second year as Assistant Athletic Director and Director of Men's and Women's Tennis at UW-Eau Claire in 2026-27.
Seyer joined the Blugolds in the summer of 2025 and serves in a dual role overseeing the men's and women's tennis programs along with administrative functions across the athletic department.
During the 2025-26 season, Seyer led the men's team to a 13-4 overall record and a 2-2 record in WIAC play. On the women's side, Seyer led the team to a 13-10 overall record and a 3-3 record in the WIAC. Seyer coached two All-WIAC players on the men's side in Pablo Rincon and Danylo Ripeckyj. Reese Burton was named to the 2025-26 All-WIAC Women's Tennis Team.
Seyer joined UW-Eau Claire from Regis Catholic Schools in Eau Claire, where he served as Athletic Director from 2023 to 2025. He was also the head boys and girls tennis coach at Regis, leading the Ramblers programs from 2012 to 2025. In that span, he coached 12 teams to the WIAA State Tournament, including the girls teams that finished as Division 2 state runner-up in 2016 and 2021.
He led the Regis boys and girls varsity teams to a combined record of 397-131 during his time as head coach. Eight student-athletes earned all-state status in Seyer’s programs. Administratively, he served on multiple councils and committees within the state’s high school tennis community.
Seyer graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations.
