EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team hosted St. Norbert College on Saturday defeating St. Norbert College, 3-0.
The Blugolds got off to a hot start with all goals being scored in the first 18 minutes, two of which scored by Tessa Grywalsky (Jr. - Madison, WI/Middleton), the first coming at the 42:18 mark and the second at 38:46 mark, followed by the final goal by Maddie Ames (Jr. Shakopee, MN) at 27.75.
The Blugolds would cool off the rest of the game but held St. Norbert to a scoreless night. The Green Knights would tally four shots on goal to the Blugolds' nine.
Anna Sveiven (Jr. – Blaine, MN/Centennial) earned with win in goal, recording four saves.
