EAU CLAIRE, Wis. ( - The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's soccer team hosted Gustavus Adolphus College in their last non-conference game on Wednesday and despite being down early, the Blugolds would rally to knock in three unanswered goals and come out on top, 3-1.

Anna Kautzman (So. - Champlin, MN) would score the equalizing goal with just 10 minutes remaining in the first half. This would be Kautzman's first goal on the year and first of her career. Krista Koenig (Fr. – Ringle, WI/D.C. Everest) would be credited with the assist.

In the second half, the Blugolds wasted no time extending their lead. With Monica Zoellner (Sr. – East Troy, WI) and Mercedes Wilson (So. – Dousman, WI/Kettle Moraine) scoring just minutes apart, it would be the Blugold defense shutting down the ever-hungry Gusties.
