ST. PAUL (Blugolds.com) – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's hockey team suffered their third loss of the season on Tuesday night, falling to Hamline University 3-1.
The Blugolds got on the board first as Hanna Zavoral (Fr. – St. Paul, MN/Highland Park) tallied an unassisted goal at 9:03 in the first period. However, the Pipers would tie things up in the second and take the lead late in the third period. An empty net goal with 11 seconds left would seal the win for Hamline.

The Blugolds (5-3-1) will stay on the road this week as they travel to De Pere to take on St. Norbert College Friday night at 7 p.m. Follow the action on Blugold Game Day.
