Women's Golf in 11th after first round of UWW Spring Fling

BELOIT, Wis. ( – After the first round of the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling at The Beloit Club, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women's golf team is in 11th place.


The Blugolds tallied a team score of 378 while Carleton College is in the lead with a score of 312.

Allison Chomniak (Sr. – Pewaukee, WI/Arrrowhead) leads Eau Claire with an 81, placing her in a tie for ninth place.

Anna Uzpen (So. - Osceola, WI) followed with a 97 (tied for 59th) while Jessica Rudnicki (So. – Sun Prairie, WI) shot a 99 (tied for 64th).

Abbie Ter Maat (Jr. - Stevens Point, WI/SPASH) is tied for 71st after turning in a 101 and Hope Tiffany is tied for 77th with a 107.

The Blugolds will play the second and final round on Saturday at 9 a.m.
