Men's Swimming and Diving Take Down Luther College

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. ( – The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire swimming and diving teams defeat Luther College in their third dual of the season, with the women winning by a score of 256-43 and the men by a score of 202-77.  The women fell to St. Kate's in a close one by a score of 169.50-130.50.


The UWEC women won 4 events on the day, and the men won 13.  In addition, diver Dylan Glumac-Berberich (Jr. – Fridley, MN) earned an NCAA zone cut on both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives. Also for the Blugold men's team Collin Miller (Sr.—Rochester, MN/ Schaeffer Academy) won several events again for the Blugolds including the 100 yard breaststroke, 100 yard free, and was apart of the winning relay teams for the 200 yard medley, and the 200 yard freestyle. 

Also having a fantastic day for the Blugolds was Michael Bylander (So.—Baxter, MN/ Brainerd) who won multiple events, including the 100 yard backstroke, the 200 yard backstroke, and was also apart of both the 200 yard medley and 200 yard freestyle winning relays.    

For the Blugold women's team Sarah Dahlk (So.—Verona, WI/ Middleton) won both the 1 meter and the 3 meter dive for the Blugolds.    

Anna Czubak (Fr.—Shorewood, WI) won the 400 yard IM, and Paige Pelikan (So.—New Berlin, WI/ West) won the 1000 yard free for the women. 


It was another great weekend for the Blugolds Swim and Dive team, next up for Eau Claire is a home dual versus La Crosse on November 2.
