Miller competed in two races on Wednesday with those being the 200-yard individual medley and the 200-yard medley relay. The individual portion went much better for the freshman.

The Rochester-native posted a time of 1:49.35 in the prelims for the 200 IM, which finished just one placing shy of All-American status. With his ninth place finish in the prelims, he did qualify for the consolation final. There, Miller took second in the race with a time of 1:49.28, which was good for tenth overall in the finals.

Unfortunately, Miller's 200-yard medley relay team comprised of himself, Ben Fisher (Sr.-Roselle, Il/Lake Park), Caleb Odmark (So.-White Bear Lake, MN), and Logan Coert (Jr.-Cedarburg, WI) was disqualified in their preliminary heat and were unable to compete in the finals.

After day one, UW-Eau Claire currently sits in 22nd place with seven total team points in the men's competition.
