EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - The UW-Eau Claire men's golf team was the lone team in action today, competing in the third and final round of the Gustavus Adolphus Twin Cities Classic.
After a slow start to the three-day Gustavus Adolphus College Twin Cities Classic, the Blugolds went from 11th place on day one to ninth place on day two and then had a strong final round to finish in third place today. The Blugolds improved their total each day, shooting 308 on day one followed by 300 on day two and 296 on day three, the second best score for the third round. They finished with 904 strokes. Three Blugolds finished in the top 21 with Patrick Conroy leading the way with 223 strokes, tied for eighth.
