Volleyball Set to Open NCAA Tournament Friday vs. St. Thomas

MOORHEAD, Minn. ( - The UW-Eau Claire volleyball team will compete in its seventh straight NCAA Tournament, beginning Friday at 3 p.m. with a match against the University of St. Thomas (Minn.). The Blugolds enter the tournament with a 22-12 overall record, while the Tommies hold a record of 29-4.

If you're going to the match...

Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $12 for adults, $10 for students and $7 for children under 12 and senior citizens on Friday and Saturday and $10 for adults, $7 for students and $4 for children under 12 and senior citizens on Sunday. The ticket will allow the holder access to every match on that day. Children aged two and under are admitted free with a paying adult.

Concordia's Memorial Auditorium holds 6,000 fans so ticket availability will not be a problem. The ticket booth will be located in the main entrance to Memorial Auditorium. All other doors will be locked.

If Eau Claire wins Friday, the Blugolds will play the winner of St. Scholastica and St. Benedict on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 3:30 p.m.
