• Team finished second in the WIAC in 2008 while advancing to the NCAA Championship for the fourth consecutive season
• Blugolds won the WIAC regular season and tournament championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007. Before 2005, no team had won either championship

• Previously served as an assistant coach for the Blugolds in 1996
• Graduated from SUNY-Cortland in 1991 with bachelor's degree in physical education. Also earned master's degree from Cortland in 1996
  • Played soccer for Cortland from 1985 to 1989
  • Three-time SUNYAC wrestling champion and two-time All-American
• Was a soccer coach at Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts from 1992 to 1996
• Also serves as an associate lecturer in the Department of Kinesiology at UW-Eau Claire
• Married to Tracy (who also teaches in the Department of Kinesiology); Has two daughters (Danielle and Sydnee) and two sons (Zachary and Christopher)
