Kimamo Wahome will begin his 21st seasoon being assistant coach for the women's soccer team in 2016-2017 at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. 
The Blugolds finished their 2015-2016 season placing third in the WIAC with a 4-3 record, and a 6-10-3 record overall. 
  • Has been assistant coach for the Blugolds since 1995
    • Has been at UW-Eau Claire since September 1994
  • Previous coaching experience
    • Has coached Eau Claire United (ECU) since 1995
    • Won the 2009 MYSA (MN) State Championship with the ECU U14 Girls C1 team
    • Finished second at the 2014 MYSA U12 Girls C1 State Championship and finished the season with an overall record of 24-3-2
  • Serves as the Program Director for the Upward Bound program at UW-Eau Claire
    • Program works with low-income high school students from Eau Claire Memorial and North High Schools who will be first-generation college students
    • Students are provided with services including academic instruction, tutorial assistance, college and career advising, mentoring, and personal support on a long-term intensive individual and group basis
    • Ultimate goal is for participants to successfully matriculate to postsecondary education institution where they will persist in their studies to fruition
