LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Blugolds.com) – The 2011-12 UW-Eau Claire softball team was recently honored by being named to the top 10 of the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Academic Team Rankings.

The NFCA Academic Awards program honors both collegiate and high school teams for their submitted GPAs from the 2011-2012 academic year.

The Blugolds recorded a team GPA of 3.470 last season, tied for the 10^th best mark with Otterbein University (Ohio) on the list for NCAA Division III teams.
