- 2011-12 is her 5th season on deck as an assistant coach, specializing in sprint events
- Prior to coming to UWEC, she was the Head Coach for Pomona High School Girls Swim Team during the 1998 and 1999 seasons in Arvada, CO
- Graduate of Texas A&M University
- Swimming Division I, she was a 2-year varsity letter winner, scholarship athlete and a bronze medalist at the 1993 Southwest Conference Championships
- In addition to coaching the Blugolds, Liz is active in Minnesota Masters swimming and volunteers her time coaching the Eau Claire Aquatics Club swim team
