EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Two UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams were in action today, women's tennis at the WIAC Championship and women's soccer on the road for its regular season finale.
WIAC Championship - 3rd of 7
Highlighted by five runner-up finishes, the women's tennis team finished in third place out of seven teams following two days of competition at the 2013 WIAC Championship at Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The Blugolds claimed third with 49 points while UW-Whitewater won its seventh straight WIAC title, accumulating 58 points.

In the final game of the regular season, the women's soccer team fell 1-0 on the road to Saint Benedict (Minn.). After a big come-from-behind win at home on Saturday against UW-River Falls, the Blugolds were shutout for the seventh time this season. Saint Benedict scored in the 34th minute.
