EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (Blugolds.com) - Three UW-Eau Claire Athletics teams competed today, soccer at home while women's tennis and golf were on the road.

Women's Soccer

UW-Eau Claire 1, UW-La Crosse 1 (2OT)

The women's soccer team opened conference play with a 1-1 tie against UW-La Crosse Saturday afternoon at Bollinger Field. Caroline Henderson scored for Eau Claire 23 seconds before halftime but La Crosse tied it up at 68:07. The Blugolds outshot the Eagles 20-7 (8-7 on-goal).

Women's Golf

The women's golf team is currently in third place out of six teams at the College of Saint Benedict's Blazer Invitational. Kate Engler leads the field of 49 golfers with 74 strokes while Emily Stone is tied for second with 77 strokes.

Women's Tennis

The women's tennis team is competing at the ITA Tournament in St. Peter, Minn. this weekend. Action got underway Friday and concludes Sunday.
