Pat is a Certified Athletic Trainer and member of the National Athletic Trainer's Association. He is a UWEC alumni and holds additional training in KinesioTaping and suture application and removal, as well as being certified in Graston Technique. As an undergraduate, he was part of a group that authored a study entitled, "A Retrospective Study Correlating Injury History and Dysfunctional Movement During a Deep Squat Using the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). Which focused on using SFMA as a tool to help predict an athlete's predisposition to injury.
In his spare time Pat enjoys training for triathlons, frisbee golfing and playing volleyball, as well as jockeying discs. He is currently studying for his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist exam and hopes to earn a Master's Degree in Advanced Athletic Training with an emphasis in Manual Therapy.
