Sydney is a Licensed Athletic Trainer and member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from UW-Eau Claire, and served as the Wisconsin Athletic Trainer’s Association Student Affairs Representative for the University. Sydney completed a senior research study in the spring of 2013 titled: A Retrospective Study Correlating Injury History and Dysfunctional Movement during a Deep Squat Using the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). This study focused on the evaluation methods of the deep squat in athletes and its potential ability to predict an athlete’s risk of injury.
Sydney enjoys participating in all seasons of hunting and fishing when possible. She particularly enjoys spending time with family and her English Bulldog, Gunner, in her free time. Following her time at UW-Eau Claire as an Intern Athletic Trainer, Sydney plans to attend graduate school.
