Mike Collins is completing his 14th year as the head women's hockey coach at UW-Eau Claire. During Collin's tenure the Blugold women's team has only missed the playoffs one time. He has coached numerous players who have been voted to the NCHA's first, second, and honorable mention teams. Most recently two players in consecutive years were chosen as the NCHA's scholar athlete winners, and NCHA player of the year award, along with one player receiving All-American honors. Collins has been a head coach for over twenty years at every level including: college Division I, Division III, Canadian Jr. A, and Major Jr. A, along with 3 years at the minor pro level. He has worked as a head instructor for over 25 years, including two of Canada's elite Hockey Schools; Okanagan Hockey School in British Columbia and Huron Hockey schools in Ontario. He has been involved with the Eau Claire Youth Hockey Program since 2000.
