Competing in two games this weekend, Brooks led the Blugolds with a .667 batting average (4-for-6), and helped the team defeat UW-La Crosse 3-2 in nine innings to open the day and 5-2 later in the day. The two wins this week pushed the Blugolds’ conference winning streak to 17 games, tying a school record. In game one, Brooks went 2-for-4 with one RBI while she was 2-for-2 in game two with a sacrifice and one run. She had a slugging percentage of .667, second highest on the team, while leading the Blugolds with a .667 on-base percentage. Starting both games in leftfield, she recorded one putout.
