Dorvinen helped the Blugolds to a 147-96 victory over UW-Whitewater by winning two events with pool-record times. She came in first in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a pool-record time of 10:33.69, almost 40 seconds ahead of the rest of the field and more than 10 seconds faster than the previous school record, while also winning the 500-yard freestyle with a pool-record time of 5:10.34. The previous pool record in the 500-yard event was 5:11.28, set by Laura Ladwig in 1982. The previous pool record in the 1,000-yard freestyle was 10:43.98, set by Laura Ladwig in 1981.
