Craggs helped the Blugolds to a 3-0 record this week as he led the team in scoring in two out of the three games. In a 77-75 win over Hamline University (Minn.) on Tuesday, he had a team-high 20 points while he led the Blugolds on Saturday with 19 points in a 75-67 win over Saint Mary’s University (Minn.). He had 12 points, the second most on the team, Friday in a 67-62 win over Rockford College (Ill.). For the week, he averaged 17 points and 3.3 rebounds per game. Craggs also had three assists and two steals and went 13-for-18 (72.2 percent) from the free throw line.
Stephenson helped the Blugolds win the Adrian Thanksgiving Tournament this past weekend. On Saturday afternoon against No. 4 Adrian College, he stopped 17 shots as the Blugolds beat the Bulldogs 2-1. On Sunday in the championship game he had 18 saves and only gave up one goal as the Blugolds defeated Buffalo State (N.Y.) 3-1 to win the tournament. He was named a Player of the Tournament for his efforts this weekend. Stephenson now holds a record on the season of 4-3-0.
Christianson averaged 10.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game as the Blugolds finished the week with a 2-1 record. Christianson was the Blugolds’ leading scorer with 19 points against NCAA Division II opponent Minnesota State University-Mankato. She scored seven points in a 49-44 win over St. Norbert College on Tuesday and had six points in a 63-35 win over Cornell College (Iowa) on Sunday. Christianson also finished the week with eight assists and six steals, both of which were team-highs.
